And so school starts.. So Monday was the first day of class. We have 2 classes an hour each with 2 diff teachers. One of which I really like and the other I could do with out. After their classes we meet our prof. for walking tours with art and buildings. On Monday we saw the Hofburg Palace, Roman outpost Reuins and a memorial to the Jewish people that were killed in the Vienna Holocaust. After the memorial we got to go to a museum that had the left over pieces of the Jewish synagogue. It was chilling and amazing...such a neat experience.
After al the tours were done a small group of us went to run errands and get stuff for dinner. I wanted pasta so I got noodles and sauce, who would of thought I could of made this funny. The sauce was so gross so after making the dish I read the back of the bottle, and the ingerdents are as follows...98% tomato 1% salt 1% basil blahaaaaa. No flavor what so ever, lessoned learned read the back before you buy...lol. I learned also on Monday how to ask for stamps at the post office and that pointing with only fingers is seen as rude, so you have to point with your entire hand. School was a little tougher then I had hoped but I made it out in one piece. :)
Really nothing to fun happened on Monday.
Today was more classes and then another walking tour. We got to see original frescos still in really great shape, I was in awe of them, so pretty. We then went to Ruprechts Church, it is a great example of a Romanesque Church. We also took a quick trip to the state library.
When that tour was done we went to this fantastic little ice cream shop...oh soooo good I wish you could all experience it. I'm really not sure what I ordered but it was to die for. Then a small group of us went to the state park and played frisbee and took some pics. Just some chill down time before the 2nd night of hours of homework.
So the last 2 days I have tried some pretty yummy eats. Like a Milch Muffin which is like a milk and coco muffin, so good then some ice cream and then a giant hotdog and yes I'm a dork there are pics of both on facebook. lol
So Thursday is a holiday here so no school Thur/Fri so a group of us are trying to take a trip. We have a list of a few picks but not sure yet what the plans are..but when I know I'll update yo guys.
I almost forgot today in class I got extra credit points for knowing a vocab word that no one else knew....yipeeeee!
